What we collect

When you buy a ticket: your name, email, phone (optional), the tickets you bought, how you paid and when you checked in. When you register a show car or vote: the details you enter. Organizers also give us their business and payout details.

Card numbers go straight to Stripe or Square and are never stored by us. We keep basic technical data (IP address, browser) to protect the site from abuse.

How we use it

To deliver and check your tickets, send your confirmation and a reminder before the event, help you if you lose a ticket, prevent fraud, and keep records the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

The organizer of the event you bought for (so they can run the event and contact you about it), and the services that help us run the site: payment (Stripe, Square), email (such as Brevo), text messages (Twilio) and our web host. If the site uses Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel, they receive page visits and purchase events.

Text messages

If you give a mobile number, we may text your tickets, a reminder and important changes to your event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or HELP for help.

Cookies

We use a few cookies to remember your language, keep staff signed in at the gate and, if turned on, measure visits. You can block cookies in your browser; tickets still work.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it by writing to sales@ticketsforevent.com or 832-684-3408. We keep ticket and payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require, then delete them.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Tickets for minors should be bought by a parent or guardian.
